Travelling from Schaan Post to Camebridge

We went on the 23th of march 2008 to Cambridge. We met on 7:15 at the Schaan Post office. 5 minutes later the bus came, we got on it and we were already on our trip.
After a hour travelling with the bus we arrived at Friedrichshafen-Airport. At first we had to check in our luggage. Some of us had too much weight on the luggage. But in the end, nobody had to leave anything here exept the misterious Miss M.S. She had a scissor in her carry-on luggage and so she had to leave it there.
The flight was easy. To be honest, I was a bit afraid but the pilot was a good one. When we arrived at London Stansted it was snowing. Matt told us that the weather isn't so bad like everybody affirm.
Then we travelled on to our hoastfamalies. One group went with Matts bus to Cambridge but we had to go with national express-bus and had to wait in Cambridge netx to the police station. It was freezing cold but we had no other choice. Finally, Matt and Mr.Beck arrived with the smaller bus to bring us to our hostfamilies.
To be honest, I was really excited. But after some minutes, I felt like home. Mr.Beck promised us to pick us up later, but he never came. Later on he told us that the bike-shop just closed and it wouldn't have made sense to meet.
This was the first day.

The last day in Cambridge

Today its the last day here in cambridge.
In the morning I was with Sereina, Marco, Sarina and Desiree in school.
At the end of the morning we became a certificate but we had some problems becouse they thought that we are tomorow in school.
After that we went into the citycenter and bought us something to eat an drink.
In the afternoon we met Mr. Ambuel and went to the coventgarden. After that we went back to the citycenter. From there I went with Marco and Desiree to the bike shop to bring the bicicles back. Then we went togeter to the bus and drove back home.

A nice day

Hello everybody!

In the morning we had school but everyone was so tired, because we arrived late from the musical. At 1 o'clock the school was over and we ad no school in the afternoon. We met us with the rest of the class in front of the police station. There we had to decide if we go to a museum or go to play golf. We decided to go to the museum. But we realised that it was the wrong decition, because it was a bit boring and all the art in the museum was the same. So we decided to go to the cafe in the museum.
At 4 o'clock we left the museum and went home.
At half past seven we went to the WT Snooker Club to see the football match Liverpool vs. Arsenal London. The match as very good and interesting.
After the matc we went home and wend sleeping because we had a long and hard day.

Many Greetings

"iphone and dinosaur" or "what does time mean to us?"

It's Monday the 31/3/08. What does time mean to us? I'm 50 years old. The students are between 15 and 18. The admired iphone in the new Apple store in Cambridge is available since July 2007.

Eleven students went with me today to Kings Chapel. The area with its buildings, the green fields and the river Cam has a sweet and calm charm. The sun spoilt us with its warm light. In the inside of the Chapel we were impressed by the architecture and the beauty of the coloured windows. I forced the group to listen to my summery of English History of the last 500 years.

After having left Kings College and after a short bicylcle trip we dived into the history of earth which means millions and millions of years. The Segdwickmuseum is the oldest geological museum in the world. It owns over 1.5 million items, e.g. examples of stones from meteors, fossils of crocodiles and spiders. The biggest spider lived 300 millions years ago and had the size of a big cat.
After an hour we left the oldfashion but heimish museum and popped into the busy streets of Cambridge. Maybe for another quick look at the iphone or maybe for a nice tea at the Arthouse.

Monday - A wunderfull day

Hi everybody!

Today the weather was beautiful. The sun shined the hole day. In the morning we were at school. We had a little test, but it was so easy because we were outside the classroom and so we could speak to each other. :)
After school we ate lunch in town.
In the afternoon we met by the police station. We split our class in two groups. One group made a tour through Cambridge and the other group went to the War Museum in Duxfort. It was very interesting there. In the evening we went out a bit.

The hole class looks forward to the musical tomorrow. :)

Bye Bye

Many Greetings

Sunday - Our Free Day

Sunday(30.3.08)

Heyy everybody

This day was really wonderful because it was a free day :-P
So everyone did something else. There was a special offer: "Go punting with Mr. Beck". It was your decicion to go there or not, so the others did something else for example go out with friends.
I was just playing games in a internet cafe with some friends and this was really funny! XD
I think all the others had a great day too and now I have to say goodbye.

Punting with Mr. Beck

Hello

Now is Sunday and we have a lot of funny the hole day.
We meet by the Kings College at two o'clock
and then we go punting. Mr. Beck is punting and
we are sitting in the boat and have fun.
After the punting I and Desiree go shopping
and I find earring for my grandmother.
Because she has birthday and I will bring
her something from Camebridge.

Great wishes from Sereina

Saturday - Our trip to London

On Saturday 29th March we started our trip to London at 8:45. A Mercedes Benz bus came and picked us up. The bus driver's name was Tony. He was very weird but we arrived in London. First we went to the Camdon Market and at 12:45 we've met again with Tony to drive futher into town. After we visited Madame Tussauds we drove with the subway to the Buckingham Palace. From there we walked along the way Mr. Beck marked on ur maps, so we've seen all the places that were worth to see (Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Piccadilly Cricus,..). Then we've met again with Tony and on the way back home he explained us some facts about some different buildings and places that we've driven by. Most of us were sleeping in the bus until we've arrived back home in Cambridge.
